Debate should always be healthy and meaningful.We should always keep it in our mind that "The only reason for discussion ever is for the transmission of the knowledge between debater".

Comparative Religion is the branch of the study of Religions concerned with the systematic comparison of the doctrines and practices of the world's Major religions.
Comparative Religion is deeper understanding of fundamental philosophical concerns of religions,such as ethics,metaphysics, and the nature and form of salvation.
In my view ethics, being the branch of Philosophy,it investigate the question "what is the best way for people to live in every unknown circumstances?" OR
it resolves the mesh(questions) of human morality by defining concepts on following:--good and evil
-right and wrong
-virtue and vice
-justice and crime
(can be called intellectually inquiry)
